Perdix & Our Founder

Our founder Maria and author is a registered nurse with nursing experience over 25 years in various specialties such as home health, hospice, behavioral health, school nursing, managed care, surgical care, travel nursing and more recently, inpatient case management.

She is a certified case manager with the Case Management Society of America and received a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Arizona State University in 2001. Her specialization lies in inpatient case management and and community case management services to patients and families in need.

She has experience in managed care, inpatient hospital case management, managed care complex case management, prior authorization, and case management education.

Learning from Experience

She has navigated through various situations; from insurance barriers, limited resources for patients, knowledge deficits to complex discharges, her experiences are an asset of valuable information.

Her E-books are a culmination of not only basic inpatient case management skills and knowledge but also her real-life experiences and challenges that required critical thinking skills and problem-solving.
